Porch Posts and Columns


QuattroPost is an appearance grade kiln-dried, engineered column, which is manufactured by Synergy Pacific utilizing a patented process providing superior strength, stability and consistency.

QuattroPost is an ideal alternative to solid wood as the product is significantly lighter and engineered to mitigate splitting and checking, a common problem with solid posts and timbers.

All porch posts are manufactured by laminating graded kiln dried lumber utilizing glulam quality standards. The engineered nature of the manufacturing process ensures that the post is straight and will not twist. Since posts are commonly exposed, significant care is taken to mitigate against checking and splitting.

All lumber is moisture tested before entering the plant, end trimmed, finger joined and then end sealed after production. Products without finger joints are laminated with a clear, ASTM 2559 certified polyurethane adhesive, thereby creating the appearance of a solid piece of timber.

After production, each post is inspected for general appearance and any minor defects are filled in order to improve visual quality of the post.

Sizes and Lengths
Synergy Pacific’s manufacturing process and facility can accommodate a wide range of product sizes and lengths. Custom lengths are available upon request. Please note that all lengths, which are not finger jointed, are PET to nominal lengths less one inch.
